1) Sunday Morning Small Group - 9:00am
A defining moment happens when you come face-to-face with a truth that invites you to change the way you live. It demands that you make a decision. And regardless of the choice you make, you will never be the same. This study examines several such moments as depicted in the lives of people from Scripture – the kinds of moments many of us will experience in our lifetimes. And if you’re willing to look at the truth honestly, these moments can change your life forever.
Meets: at 8:30am for Breakfast, followed by study at 9am on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month in the church Library
Studying: Who You Are When No One's Looking by Bill Hybels
Contact: Sheila Redford, (609) 252-0737 or sheila.m.redford@gmail.com
2) Monday Night Small Group - 7:30pm
Our focus is on fellowship and work that will benefit our church. Our past activities have run from hosting dinners and barbeques for new church members to donning our work clothes and renovating the HRC library and bathrooms. (Most of our members are past or present member of the HRC Interior Property Committee). Our Monday night meetings have included Bible study (most recently from the Book of Acts); general sharing and airing of our thoughts, concerns, and blessings; and, last but certainly not least, prayer.
Meets: every other week from 7:30pm-9pm at member's homes
Studying: The Book of Acts
Contact: Dan and Donna Bruun, (609) 683-7271 or dbruun@markerman.com
3) Tuesday Afternoon Ladies Group - 12:45pm
Our group originated as a group of moms that decided to read a book together – The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. From there we have evolved to a group that has shared life stories, proposed a school program together, gone through many Bible studies, laughed a lot, met for lunch and prayed together. We are still a group of moms and continue to support each other with parenting and family dynamic issues. One of the best parts of our group is that we LOVE having new people join or attend our group. Please come check us out!
Meets: 12:45pm in the Church Library
Studying: "That the World May Know"
DVD and "Women of Faith" DVD
Contact: Linda Wallo, (908) 359-7651 or Kelle Macioce at hroffice@comcast.net
4) Tuesday Night Ladies Group - 7:30pm
This study is about helping you untangle those stretchy emotions that get knotted and tangled together. It’s about finding those places where your emotions hide and exposing them to God’s grace. Don’t allow life to push your buttons until you have an emotional meltdown. Instead, find out how you can let God help you get untangled.
Meets: 7:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at member's homes

• Congregational Care - Email Prayer Chain We will be starting an e-mail prayer chain in addition to our daytime/evening phone chain. Doing this by e-mail will involve more people and also provides a means of getting prayer requests out faster. If you are interested in this, please give your name and e-mail address to Janet or Kelle. There will also be sign up in the church house for the next few weeks.
• Congregational Care - Casserole Program We are starting a new program involving food. We feel there is a need for providing food to families during illnesses, surgery, etc. We would like to have casseroles donated and put in our freezer at church that would be readily available for those in need. We would also love homemade bread and cookies that could be frozen. Please label and put in disposable containers. There will be a sign up sheet in the church house or call Janet or Kelle to sign up.

These committee chair-people will ask members of the congregation to serve on their committees this year. You may volunteer to serve on a committee or be asked to serve on a committee. People may serve on the same committee for four consecutive years. Committees are newly organized every year to insure that many people in the congregation are given opportunity to serve. It also helps to insure that there’s always a fresh infusion of new ideas. If you’re asked to serve on a committee, please say “Yes!”
